Q: I'm curious, why do you recommend hanging a 30 mm crystal vs any other size?

A:  Great question! Below you will find an outline of the round facted crystal sizes that are most commonly used for feng shui adjustments. Of course, you should always trust your intuition when selecting a crystal.

20 mm (or flat leaded panes) for bringing in rainbow rays but not large enough to break up or balance chi (energy).

30 mm for single rooms, opening the center of a single room, or activating a corner or area of a large room, ceiling fan cords, above a sink or cooking area, linking, and clutter clearing.

40 mm for large rooms, anchor the center of a small home, straight shots within a single room, beams, missing sectors, staircases, long hallways, and clutter clearing.

50 mm to anchor the center of a large home, a straight shot from the front to back of home/office, and large beams.

Crystals are considered the wealth of the earth.  They bring extra good luck to a space or place.  You would want to pay caution to hanging them in the southeast area of a home as this area is governed by wood energy and wood drains earth.  Using the wood element in painting, furnishings, or accessories will uplift the wood energy.  Another option is to purchase a clear green round crystal instead of a clear round crystal, although a colored crystal does not bring in as much rainbow light as a clear crystal would.

Radiometers will also activate the chi in a space much like a crystal.  There are beautiful radiometers available but these are much higher in price.
