Cultivating the Soil for Positive Relationships

Many of you know that I use the power of intention to invite opportunities into my life, so it was quite amazing how the universe literally dropped the hydroponics garden and composter right into our yard. After a few weeks of discussion, visualization, and writing down a plan of action we finally knew exactly what was needed to build the hydroponics garden and composter. Next were the funds being readily available to build them. The next week a friend of ours, a licensed landscape architect, told my husband that he was purging and organizing his workshop. Amongst the items he wanted to purge were; a hydroponics garden that he designed, and a composter. He asked if my husband was interested in them? My husband’s reply was “Sure, how much”? “No charge, you have helped me in the past, I want to gift this to you”, was his reply. (Power of intention, power of intention!) Granted we had to figure out how to put the contraption together and come up with a way to refurbish the composter but we were tremendously grateful!
According to Feng Shui, September – October are two of the months associated with the element of earth. These are the months that the soil is warm and the roots get a good start. The fall rain helps remind us to give mother earth nutrients needed for next springs sprouts. During this time many of us are getting ready for the cooler months by cleaning up the summer garden and freezing or canning for the winter while composting what’s left. It’s time to organize the closets and drawers for your winter clothing, but this can be a challenge for us Florida residents, as it does not get too cold. Our closets usually consist of warm and cool clothing because we can wake up to 40-50 degree weather and by afternoon it’s in the 70’s or 80’s.
During the fall, the children are back in school, our busy season kicks back into gear, and our personal and business relationships are expanded. The element of earth reminds us to dig deep and really pay attention to the relationships surrounding us. This is the time for purging, pulling out or weeding out last years crop or relationships. It’s time to replant our seeds and connect not only to earth but also to the relationships that bring us joy, encouragement, trust, and the willingness to be open. What’s even more interesting is that our hydroponics garden and composter is located in the relationship sector of our land, which is the back right corner. Not only do my husband and I have a strong relationship, but those that we interact with through our businesses are strong and supporting. We strive to build a strong foundation of unification for the highest good of present and future generations.
Here are a few questions you can ask yourself:
Do you have a meaningful relationship with your spouse or partner?
Do your current relationships connect you with others that you enjoy?
Single? How and where do you spend your time connecting with others?
Are you nurturing the earth through recycling, composting, or sustainable green living?
Are you bringing earth energy into your home or office through design elements?
Do you support or nurture others for the highest good?
