Day Five 21 Day Consciousness Cleanse - The Gift of Reverence

Day Five has been an odd auspicious day for me and according to Debbie Ford many are feeling overwhelmed.  Debbie starts the call out today by saying that we are taking an integration day tomorrow.  Saturday will be a day to catch up on any incomplete action items, journal about your experiences with the 21 Day Consciousness Cleanse thus far and take a breather to counter any overwhelm that you may be experiencing.  Debbie Ford asks that we don't read Day 6 but that we can participate in Saturdays call for sharing and integration.  THANK GOD!  Seriously, I'm right there with everyone else and to make matters worse my hubby and I got into a little argument this evening.  We don't do this very often so I know we are both feeling the powers of this cleanse.  Yes, he has been trying to follow along too with his own journal but he's a day behind.

Today is about reverence, being humble and honored to play in this game of life within our bodies that are sacred containers.  Hold it, nourish it, adore it, and revere it each day.  Debbie asks that we acknowledge ourselves for all the amazing work that we've done.  She takes us into a meditative visualization while asking us to envision someone that we love.  Breathe in the soul food quote, "I revere my body as a sacred container of God."  Open up to the possibility that you will have a massive breakthrough today.  Look for what's right about you and your body.  Debbie reads the following poem located on page 115 of the book, "21 Day Consciousness Cleanse"
I allow myself to feel the endless energy of the Universe
I drink from the river of pure potentiality
I sip the sweet drops of life force
So that they can fill my body with vitality
I feel the endless energy of my youth filling my body,
enlivening my spirit, restoring me to perfect health
Wholeness and happiness are my birthright
My constant companions
Appreciation for my body medicine for my soul

You house a piece of spirit as a collective whole.  Matters not just to you as a individual but all those that serve you.  Allow intention to float into you.  What would you like to receive today?  Ask that your voice be heard from your higher self.  Allow yourself to open up to your soul's desire.  Hold on to reaching your goal.  Send your intention out to everyone and know that they are listening.  And then bring it back to your energy.  Bring all that love from the crown of your head, through every cell, every molecule, down to your toes.  Thank yourself for all that you have done.  Bring into the presence that we are one of god's fingers, our voice, our hearts are beating with god's heart.  Look today at how we are treating our bodies of the divine through food, rest, exercise and so on.  Feel the awareness digest in the mix of it all.  Is what you consume your food medicine, or just something you shove down?  We have a brief time to honor this opportunity, to honor our body.  From our toes to our heads, we are infusing them with gods love.  Being able to breathe in the presence that we can hear, have hair, have fingers that move, have arms that bend, capable of using the restroom, talk, and so on.  Imagine walking through your day with love.  Love that your body continues effortlessly to function every organ within.

Allow yourself to be in the present and stand in awe at the beauty of your body!  Connect to the part of you that holds your body in a holy sacred way.
  • How would this affect your soul's desire?   Allow yourself to hear a new voice, a voice of reference.  Be clear about how you view your body.
  • Do you take it for granted?  Do you Ignore the use of the functions that act automatically?  Allow yourself to see how you have misused your body.
  • What habits and actions do you need to apologize about to your body?  Say your sorry for the ways you mistreated it or took advantage of it.  Write down the ways you have minimized it's importance.  Take a day off and allow yourself to love the body that your in.  Give up or let go of something that is toxic to your body.
  • What habits can you let go?  Then allow yourself to see what internal action can support your new body.
  • What can you do in the external world for the rest of the day of the cleanse?  Treat it like a sacred container of God.  Then thank yourself, thank your body and thank God.  You will take your internal and external actions to listen to your soul food.

I'm not going into the Q&A today on the blog as I'm just plain tired.  I wanted to share my notes above with you from Debbie's live call and I will share my brief notes with you below.

I find that I put others needs before my own.  Even when I'm exhausted, including the writing of this blog today.  I'm frustrated that I don't stick to an exercise routine each day.  I have gone weeks and months with great success in the past and then something comes up that fills the time of exercise.

My letter to my body for today:
I acknowledge that my body is a sacred vessel.  I'm sorry for letting go and letting in the cracks and crevices of toxicity.  I apologize to my sacred body for not taking time for rest while pushing it to the limit or beyond.

My intention for today, well for tonight and into tomorrow.
My body is now healthy and alive with vitality.

I'm now going to put my feet up, accept love and give love to my hubby, doggies, and cat.  We are watching a movie, hey maybe hubby and I can massage each others feet while watching the movie.  I'm also going to give my hubby a big hug and kiss but most importantly say, I LOVE YOU!  Before I go to bed I will read Debbie Ford's poem and ask that the divine gift me with a good night's sleep filled with vitality.
