Day Seven 21 Day Consciousness Cleanse - The Gift of Self-Acknowledgment
Today is a very special day in the 21 Day Consciousness Cleanse! Not that days one through six weren't special, as these days were amazing in bringing acknowledgment to the gifts of the past. On this very special day, we celebrate the self-acknowledgment of celebrating the best in our loving selves. We step into the next step of clearing out and opening up to receiving peace, joy, and fulfillment. Debbie Ford says, "Today is the day to focus 100 percent of your attention on what you love about yourself and on all that is going well in your life. Self-acknowledgment is truly a holy practice."
Debbie suggests giving or taking action on things you want to be acknowledged for by writing in a journal each day. Change the way you think of yourself. Be in awe of self, instead of taking yourself for granted - accept self-acknowledgment. Unhook yourself from the events of the day and be in the present. Acknowledge, thank yourself for being here today, now! What's right about your process? Even if you've missed a day, or two, or three. Bask in the glory of every step that you've taken in your soul's discovery. Acknowledge all the love that you give to others. All the favors and good deeds that you've done.
It's so easy to kick yourself for what you've done in the past. It is a holy act to focus and give focus to our talents, gifts, and what we contribute to the world. OWNING that you ARE divine! When your in self-acknowledgment you honor the divine. The divine does not look at you and say, "Look at what's not working". You don't have to get approval from the outer world because you've given acknowledgment to the inner you. Let go of the eyes that say could have, should have, or would have, this is the outer world not the inner world of the divine. Self-Acknowledgment gains you confidence and emotional resilience.
"My worth is celebrated by awe!"
What do you love about yourself?
What are your god given gifts?
Caller One
How do you find a gift in worry? Debbie suggests acknowledging yourself for something and there is a long pause from the caller. As she searches for the words...... thorough, dependable, reliable, caring and loving. Debbie says, "Maybe you could benefit from some of that love that your projecting out to everyone else." This is where the caller gets it and I'm certain many others do too. I know I do, being a mother you instinctively worry about your children. I have had to learn this valuable worry lesson and you can read more about it from a previous blog, My Soul Packed Away in Photo Bins.
Caller Two
How do you find the purpose in your soul's desire? Debbie says that you don't know where it's taking you but you know what it is right now, in the present. I'm thinking, what a simply beautiful statement that is so very true! We do not know the next hour, day, week, and so on but what we do have is this very single moment. This moment can change everything!
Caller Three
How do you see the ugly and pretty side while turning it all around to self? Debbie suggests bringing the divine light to the ugly so it's all pretty. Caller questions giving gift to the shadow when those are the things you try to hide. Debbie says that everybody is so use to rejecting self that we don't even recognize it. Eyes of the human self is the judgment. We want to be present in a state of consciousness. Be open to the not knowing. We live in such a limited view of what's available for us all.
Inventory of my Self-Acknowledgments
Being a happy carefree child.
Being that loving light to my little brother.
Winning spelling bees.
Helping my family on the farm as a small child. I loved how nature and the animals supported us as humans. I love myself for acknowledging this as a small child.
I acknowledge the teen that wanted to learn more about the universe and beyond the boundaries of what was taught in school. I acknowledge the spirit within me that always knew there was something bigger beyond individual self.
I thank the teen that always greeted newcomers with open arms instead of treating them like they were outcasts.
I love that I was a lover and not a fighter throughout my teens.
I give BIG acknowledgment to the teen that chose bringing life into this world. Taking on the responsibility of becoming a mother at the age of sixteen.
Being a caring, loving, supportive mother for my children. I acknowledge the young mother that worked hard to provide food, clothes, and shelter to two beautiful children.
I acknowledge the self for breaking through all the boundaries of living with someone who made me feel small. A strong woman erupted in her twenties that climbed each mountain with great vigor.
I acknowledge self for going through college and working her way to the role Controller for multi-billion dollar companies.
I acknowledge self for following her inner guidance to make a career change even when others did not understand. YIPPEE!!
I thank and acknowledge self for creating a company with a brand name that helps others bring balance and harmony to living environments.
I acknowledge self for pushing through and getting up on stage in front of people during presentations.
I acknowledge my recent energies of publishing my first book in the Live Your Intention mini book series. And creating the beginning stages of the Live Your Intention home study course.
YEAH to the divine soul within me! The previous days of surrendering and gifting the past was a challenge, but I did it! The first seven days is a release of everything from the past that depletes our vitality and holds us back. The next seven days we take an honest look at where and who we are today. Oh yeah, more challenges to work through, just when I thought it was getting easy. Gotta love those mountains that we climb!
